Rodriguez left himself exposed with a lead uppercut and was knocked flat on his face after Zahabi replied with a straight right. A follow-up hammerfist was academic as the referee intervened at the 3:05 mark of the first round. Check out the finish. The bantamweight came into the fight on the heels of a decision loss to Vince Morales that followed a brutal knockout loss against Ricardo Ramos. Aiemann Zahabi’s octagon record now stands at an even 2-2.
